Expect Friendly People

We’re small, around 60 people. One of our strengths is a refreshing lack of pretentiousness that makes it easy to walk in as a newcomer. Demographically, about a third of our church is in their 20s and 30s, and about 20% of the church is multiethnic.

A Message from the Bible

We believe the Bible and the sacraments have a unique power to shape us. You’re welcome to listen to a sermon before visiting if you want a better sense of what the messages are like.

A Place for Kids

We’re a community that loves kids. The only catch is we don’t have many of them yet. Lots of singles, not many young families. We’d love to change that. Kids are welcome in the worship service, noise and all. We also offer a nursery during the service and Children’s Church during the sermon to help parents focus on worship too.

The Body and Blood

Sunday culminates in a sacred meal when we receive the body and blood of Jesus in communion. There is no greater gift on earth than to gather together and partake of the body and blood: true, spiritual food from heaven for the hungry.

Prayers and Songs

The songs we sing and the prayers we pray come from a mixture of ancient and contemporary sources. We pray about real things that are happening in the world, and we draw upon the best of the ancient Christian tradition.

An Invitation to Take the Next Step

Whether that’s connecting with people who live in your neighborhood, finding a place to serve the poor and vulnerable, or trying to reconnect with God, we can help you take those steps.
