Vision
Church websites all sound the same, ours probably included. The real proof is in visiting and seeing what the culture actually is like. What we’re working toward is a place where ordinary people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and walks of life become an actual family: carrying each other’s burdens and building their lives around King Jesus.
Service
The Church exists for the life of the world. One of the ways we serve South Scottsdale is through our partnership with Community House, which aims to build relationships with friends experiencing homelessness and to support them on their journey off the streets. Another partnership we’ve developed is with Yavapai Elementary School, serving the students, teachers, and families.
Beliefs
We affirm the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. These two creeds have been the core of Christian belief since the earliest centuries of the church and unite us together with the global community of Christians. We are also indebted to the stream of Protestant Christianity that began in the seventeenth century and is summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. Our worship is a blend of liturgical and more contemporary forms, if that lingo makes sense to you.
Affiliations
We are affiliated with the network of churches called the Presbyterian Church in America. We are a church startup through the Southwest Church Planting Network, and we partner with the Surge Network locally here in the Valley.
